IN THE HILLS

This holiday home named Estate 5 is an 8 bedroom Chalet nestled in the hills of Kausali with spectacular views of the snowcapped Lower Shivalik mountain range. The mood and feelings one needed to experience in this space was straightforward. Using natural earthy materials like slate, wood, stone and brick, incorporating soft mood lighting, Studio Constantine created a space with high emotional contrast and an atmosphere that appeals to all the senses of its inhabitants. The pine wood timbered walls and ceiling were partly made from trees that had been cut to build the roads to this chalet. The furniture is mid century modern inspired and the art and sculptures are a combination of contemporary and traditional themes reflecting the owners passion for collecting art.
